Nokia may have tried a Lumia with Android before selling the company

According to a report in the New York Times, Nokia Lumia if I develop a device with Android, however, after starting with negotiations with Microsoft and Windows Phone implementation based operating system, the Finnish left the project.

In the report indicated that two employees of the company was holding a prototype Nokia Lumia Android, project and took some time to develop, so much so that even Microsoft people knew and even the Redmond at the time tested a Surface Phone with Android.

The possibility of switching to Android was never put on the negotiating table Nokia and probably this was one of the determining factors in purchasing negotiations so as to ensure the loyalty of Nokia and the future of Windows Phone.
