Samsung Flight II lands at RadioShack

Unlike the previous Flight, the Samsung  Flight II features a landscape slide-out QWERTY keyboard and is slightly bulkier.

The 3G capable the phone comes with a 2mp camera, MP3 player, video playback and 512MB of internal memory. Though slightly bigger than the previous model the handset is lighter, weighing just 99g compared to the original Flight's 136g.

Alike in some respects to the similarly priced Intensity II this device features a more refined design, bigger screen and better camera, though without the eco credentials. The Flight II is available from RadioShack's website for $49.99 plus free shipping with a contract.

The company takes the center stage again with a duo of sequel handsets namely, Samsung Eternity II and Flight II. With an expandable memory of up to 32GB, users can store unlimited media content like images and music tracks on their handsets.

With a full HTML web browser, users can get latest news, gossip, weather, sports scores and more right on their handsets. The handset also features improved social networking with Star Tweets and WHERE functions. Both handsets feature three scrolling home screens and drag-and-drop widgets along with the new PicDial feature. The latter enables users to view full screen Facebook and MySpace profile pictures and status messages of contacts from the address book on their handy devices while any incoming call. Other than a full HTML browser, the handsets also comprise AT&T’s Music, Address Book, Navigator, Video Share and Mobile Video. Besides, the devices also pack a music player alongside Mobile Music and Videos. The Samsung Flight II is available on Radio Shack retail locations at a price of $49.99 with free standard shipping via FedEx and 2-year agreement.
