My experience with the Sony E-Reader PRS-T1
On the Sony Reader can read digital books in ePub format as in many Ereaders. But this Ereader has a number of features and tricks making this a true pleasure. Here I'll explain why.
Wifi
The reader is equipped with Wifi, among others. This can save you shopping in the ebook store (bol.com), also unfamiliar words and concepts Googling or search in Wikipedia.
Speed
The reader is equipped with a touch screen. You can turn the pages by rubbing the screen, just as you would with a paper book. Like this uncomfortable this can also use the buttons below the screen. Do you want to quickly switch to another page, you can quickly via the menu to navigate to another page by typing it in the bar or shifting. Turning the pages is quick so you never break can read.
Customize font and size
You can even customize the Font from the menu, but also the size of the letters. This is particularly useful for children who may be deterred by small letters and people who are less able to see. The pages fit on automatically, so you do not have to scroll down.
It is also possible to use a portion of the text or figure to increase by using the touchscreen in and zoom out.

Bookmark

Highlighting, notes and search
It is also possible words or phrases in the text by highlighting it with the supplied stylus to rub. You will see a small menu where you can choose Highlight, Add Note, Search, Wikipedia and Google.
- Marking: the word gets a light gray markings.
- Add Note: You may or with a keyboard that is visible or the pin a note or drawing.
- Search: the same word in the previous or next pages searched.
- Wikipedia: the word is searched in Wikipedia.
- Google: the word is searched in Google.
These functions are especially useful in textbooks or literature that should be read for school.
Dictionaries
If you have a word with the pin marks, also appears like a screen bottom of the screen that the translation of the word indicates, if they are present in the selected dictionary. The reader is equipped with whole pile dictionaries: Van Dale Pocket Dictionary English-Dutch and Netherlands-English, New Oxford American Dictionary, Oxford Dictionary of English, Oxford French dictionary (EN-FR and FR-EN); Collins German Dictionary (EN- GE and GE-S); Oxford Spanish-English Dictionary (EN-ES and ES-S); Collins English-Italian Dictionary (IT-EN and EN-IT). Unfortunately, everything is oriented towards the English language and there is no Van Dale Dutch dictionary or Netherlandish-English, French-Dutch, German-Dutch, Spanish-Dutch and Dutch-Italian version of Dale. Yet this is a very useful addition, not only because you can instantly look up any word by typing in one of the dictionaries, but also because a word in the text to highlight the significance can look directly into the selected dictionary.
Collections
It is possible your books in collections to accommodate. You can give the names of these folders you want. So you can organize your collection by genre (thrillers, novels, children's books, textbooks, cookbooks) or a personal collection construct the reader used by multiple family members. Small disadvantage is that these collections can not further divide.
Extras
Also from the main menu you can make notes, draw (great for kids), Internet, use a dictionary, listen to music and view photos. Being an e-ink reader is meant that everything in black and white. Advantage of e-ink is that even in sunlight the display is visible. The browser view is limited. Buienradar.nl example is not displayed. A tablet is better if you want to use this website.
Load
Charging is via the supplied cable to the USB port of your computer. It is possible to use a power adapter allowing you to buy directly from the power outlet to recharge your reader. If you have a computer, this is not necessary.
If you wifi off, the battery very long time, according to the manufacturer 15 hours. This more or less correct.
Accessories
The reader is supplied with pin, but without cover. This protective case can be with or without reading lamp there buying. The reading light is particularly useful for reading in the dark. The case offers equal space for the supplied stylus.

Conclusion
All in all, the Sony Ereader very pleasant to use, with menus and buttons which thought and this reader is definitely worth 135 Euro. The case is relatively expensive, but with light yet very useful.
