Boy Genius Report says sources are confirming that Apple is trying to specifically eliminate vacation time for their employees from February 3 to February 6 leading us to believe that could be the weekend the Verizon iPhone becomes official.
erizon announced a special press conference on January 11th that has set this rumor ablaze. Typically, these blackout weekends will have a little more notification. As CNET reporters believe, this won’t be the case because the likely reason Apple is even joining forces with Verizon is to gain market share in the increasingly enormous smartphone department. They believe, if Apple goes to LTE 4G, it would probably just result in lose most Verizon subscribers.
After reading the title of the post you might think, … oh no, Verizon iPhone thing again!, but Boy Genius Report claims that both Apple and Verizon are all set to launch CDMA iPhone 4 on February 3rd.
The main point in this report, according to BGR, is that Apple’s “Employee Blackout” dates are scheduled this year from February 3rd to February 6th in several regions of the United States, suggesting that a major launch is coming for that weekend.
Here come this week’s Verizon iPhone rumor and boy is it from a reliable source. While the source didn’t state Verizon iPhone as the reason for this blacked out employee vacation request, BGR, us and you know that it has to do with the CDMA iPhone and nothing else.
