Galaxy Tab will be version 1.10, revision is more slim than the version that had been exhibited Samsung at the end of March 2011 and which is a direct response to the launch of the Apple iPad 2. The first version of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is shown at the Mobile World Congress in February 2011 and is thinner than the original with a thickness of 10.9mm iPad

This MkII version that will be marketed to the U.S. is now slightly thinner than the iPad 2 with a thickness of only 8.6mm. Users who have purchased the Galaxy Tab Limited Edition 10.1, which is the first generation devices, will get an update to the Android 3.1 in the coming weeks.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Version 10.1 will be stuffed with the latest NVIDIA Tegra processors 2 dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz speeds. The tablet is also retain some advantages of hardware than the iPad 2, namely 8-megapixel back camera and a 2-megapixel camera facing forward. 3G connection is also faster, being able to support HSPA + with 21Mbps download speeds.
