When the Verizon iPhone 4 arrives

Verizon iPhone 4 CDMA may be released in the first quarter of 2011, and  lot of gossips are rotating on its cost. Apples move is very positive so far and estimates that Verizon could significantly boost  iPhone sales.

When the Verizon iPhone 4 arrives, millions of Verizon customers will immediately embrace the idea and jump on board. Expect limited data plans. Any hope of a Verizon iPhone 4 with an unlimited monthly data usage option went out the window when Verizon announced that the Verizon iPad would only come with a choice of limited data plans for the optionally bundled mifi mobile network. Think the Verizon iPhone 4 data plans will be any better?
Expect Verizon to get worse. All those Verizon customers who’ve stuck with a simple flip-phone all this time, in the hopes that the Verizon iPhone was just around the corner, have never used a byte of mobile data in their lives. But once they start moving to the Verizon iPhone and getting their first taste of mobile email and internet (and Twitter, Facebook, maps, etc), expect Verizon’s data network to get worse. Perhaps not as severely as AT&T’s data network has. Speaking of laws… Some civilized nations have regulations regarding network quality, tower placement per user density, and so on. Here’s more on the Verizon iPhone 4 launch.

Apple-Verizon partnership will also see Verizon selling Apple’s Wi-Fi iPad. As of late, Apple has announced that 2,000 Verizon stores will be having iPads for sale on October 28. Apple has never given discounts on the iPhone though it provides special prices on Black Friday for the Mac and iPod lines.
Nielsen reported that the iPhone’s share has declined from January’s 32 percent to 26 percent.
